Claudio Munoz
Born in Chile. Studied Architecture, but pursued a career as an illustrator. After the Chilean 9/11 coup I settled in England, working for most papers and magazines, 22 years regularly for The Economist. I collaborated in some three dozens children's books in the UK and abroad, mainly most recently in the US, where Candlewick published TIA ISA WANTS A CAR and its Spanish version TíA ISA QUIERE UN CARRO, written by Meg Medina, winner of the Ezra Jack Keats award, both currently in its 5th reprint.
